Be prepared……. to have fun!

Welcome to Beaver Scouting!

Goldenhill and Tunstall Beavers offers Scouting opportunities for Beaver Scouts, boys and girls aged 6-8 years. They are the youngest section in our Scouting family.

We meet on Thursday evenings 5.30p.m. until 6.30p.m.

Our activities are based around outdoor activities, singing, playing games, going out on visits, making things, investigating nature, listening to stories, learning how to be safe and most importantly, making new friends.

Beaver Scout activities are a combination of learning and having fun. They learn about themselves and how to look after themselves, they get to know people from their local community. They find out about life in other countries and explore through organised activities. They care by helping those around them.

The children are given plenty of opportunity to sleep over away from home either indoors or under canvas.

The best way to find out what Beaver Scouts get up to is to get in touch or come along and see for yourself!

If you’d like your child to join, or you’re interested in helping out with your local Beaver Colony, contact us.
